Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and have fun, develop new skills, or gain experience – perhaps for employment or to support a university application. Volunteering brings satisfaction of spending time to achieve something that will make a difference to people in Shropshire.
If you are interested in volunteering and feel you have particular skills and interests to bring to our organisation, please take a look at the volunteering opportunities on this page and contact us at volunteering@community-resource.org.uk
If you would like to volunteer but aren't sure which role might suit you best, please still get in touch!

Community Resource is recruiting volunteers to become Relevant Persons' Representatives.
Everyone who is deprived of liberty must have someone appointed to act as their representative. Usually the person or an assessor will select a family member to carry out this role. When there is no one who is able to do it, the Council must appoint someone to carry out the role.
There is currently a waiting list of people in Shropshire who need a representative urgently, so if you think you can help please get in touch.

Our Care and Share groups take place twice a month for people with dementia and the family members who cares for them. They also give family carers a much-needed opportunity for respite while their loved one is participating in the group.
We currently have three Care and Share groups and are looking for volunteers to help us run them.
